Providing Soil Testing and Septic System Designs in Maine Since 1987.

You may be asking yourself…

  • Who do I call if my septic system has failed? What are my options?

  • How can I tell my septic system is failing?

  • Do I need a replacement septic system now?

  • I am building a new home and need a septic system design (HHE-200) to start the permitting and building process — where do I start?

  • What is “Site Evaluation” and what does it involve?

The process of acting on these and many other questions you may have about your septic system can be an intimidating process.  I know just how intimidating it can be; before becoming a Site Evaluator, my own septic system failed and I didn't know where to begin.  If you need answers to your septic questions I can help.  I am a Maine Licensed Site Evaluator and have designed hundreds of new and replacement septic systems throughout Maine since 1987.  I am also a Maine Licensed Geologist with over 32 years experience in the Environmental Field.  Along the way, I have provided septic solutions for homeowners and business owners alike, and have established a network of contractors who you can trust when it comes time to install your septic system.

Did you know that "Perc Tests" are no longer performed?  Instead, an in-depth evaluation of soils and site conditions are considered in the design of a septic system; this is the Site Evaluation. And, if properly designed and installed, with a minimum of maintenance your septic system should last you an average of 20 years or more.
